In almost all cases, it’s very convenient to use simple keyboard shortcuts to apply formatting, insert table rows, save a document, find a text and any action on your Microsoft Office. It’s also a lot quicker to perform these actions with a few keyboard combinations than by using your mouse to click an icon on a toolbar.
However, remembering these key combinations would be a bit of a hassle so it would be a big help if we could always see the assigned keyboard shortcuts to different actions on your toolbar as shown below.

You may have noticed that whenever you open “My Computer” to browse files, there is a slight delay. That is because Windows XP automatically searches for network files and printers each time you open Windows Explorer. You can significantly increase browsing speed by doing the following:
- Double-click on My Computer
- Click the Tools menu
- Select Folder Options
- Click on the View tab
- Uncheck the Automatically search for network folders and printers
- Click OK

Uncheck the "Automatically search for network folders and printers" in Folder Options
