1. Accepting these terms
By accessing or using ExtraTopics, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting access to your email account and activity performed through your ExtraTopics account. Do not impersonate another person or create accounts to manipulate votes, referrals or community results.
3. Voting and participation
Votes represent community participation, not scientific polling. Results may change, may not represent the general population and should not be treated as professional research. You may not use automated systems, duplicate identities or other methods to manipulate results.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of arguments and other original content you submit. By submitting content, you give ExtraTopics a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, format and distribute it as needed to operate and promote the service. You confirm that you have the right to submit your content.
We may review, limit, remove or decline to publish content that violates these terms or our Community Guidelines.
5. Prohibited use
- Harassment, threats, hate, targeted abuse or encouragement of violence.
- Doxxing or posting another person’s private information.
- Spam, scams, malicious links or deceptive activity.
- Illegal content or instructions intended to facilitate wrongdoing.
- Vote manipulation, account abuse or interference with site security.
- Copying or exploiting ExtraTopics content or systems without permission.
6. Intellectual property
The ExtraTopics name, logo, design, software, editorial briefs and other platform materials are owned by ExtraTopics or used with permission. These terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
7. Informational service
ExtraTopics provides general information and community perspectives. It is not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice. We work to present topics fairly but do not guarantee that all information is complete, current or error-free.
8. Account actions and availability
We may warn, restrict, suspend or remove accounts or content when reasonably necessary to protect the community or service. We may also change, interrupt or discontinue parts of ExtraTopics. Where practical, we will try to communicate material account actions.
9. Disclaimer and limitation
ExtraTopics is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ExtraTopics is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses resulting from use of the service or reliance on community content.
